Weebly Portfolio
For your first assignment you will need to make your own online portfolio using the simple web-design software Weebly. Follow these steps to create your portfolio.
First, create an account on Weebly.
Then choose your design (this can always be changed later).
Name your site using the following format: first initial of your first name then last name. So Jamala Doe would be jdoe.weebly.com.
Keep in mind that you only need the free version of Weebly for our class.
Then you are going to create 4 pages:

Then you are going to create 4 pages:
- A Home page/welcome page - This page will welcome visitors to your site. You should let them know the purpose of your site on this page.
- An About Me page - This page will have info about you including a paragraph about yourself, your experience/recognition, and your goals. Use the information from your interview with your peer to write your About me statement.
- A Portfolio page - This page is for your creative work. We will add work to your portfolio as the class progresses. Use a "blog" style page for your Portfolio.
- A Blog page - This page should be made using the "blog" option as well. On this page you will compose your blog entries that tie what we are talking about in class to the real-world media that you like to enjoy.
- Don't post any personal information that you do not want the whole world know (i.e. Do you want every in the world to be able to link to your Facebook account? Mmm... Probably not.)
- Keep your portfolio professional. All your work needs to abide by the Arts and Academic Academy values.
